The money raised over the seven days will go towards helping some of the most vulnerable members of the hospitality industry.
Penny Moore, chief executive of Hospitality Action, said: “With hospitality being the fourth-largest employer in the UK, with 3m workers, there is massive potential for us to help our colleagues in need.”
Since 2009, the industry charity has seen a whole host of fundraising from its supporters during Hospitality Action Week, resulting in more than £170,000 being raised. From country pubs to boutique hotels, catering colleges to contract caterers, hospitality workers from across the country are being asked to show their commitment to the fantastic industry they work in.
From race nights, cake sales and garden tours to massages, there are numerous ways to get involved.
Registering is simple. Email fundraising@hospitalityaction.org.uk and the team will send through a fundraising pack.
