Hospitality Action gears up for its biggest event of the year

3rd Oct 2011 - 00:00
Abstract
October is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing - that it’s time to get ready for one of the industry’s most eagerly-awaited fundraising events.
The 2011 Hospitality Action Ball is taking place at the Lancaster London on Friday 21 October and tickets are now available. An incredible £100,000 was raised at last year's event and the Hospitality Action team are hoping that the industry, with its great sense of camaraderie, will dig deep to support them once again. There'll be many ways to donate while also being in with a chance of winning some incredible prizes. They include: • Watching a football match at Arsenal's world famous Emirates Stadium from the comfort of a 15 seat private box, complete with full hospitality • Relaxing with a champagne weekend for two at The Goring and dinner at Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley • Taking in some world class golf with two tickets for next year's Open Golf Championship at Royal Lytham, with full hospitality The evening will commence at 7pm with a champagne reception sponsored by Brita, followed by a gourmet four-course meal including wine. United Coffee and William Murray Communications are respectively sponsoring the two prestigious Ambassador and President's awards. This year's recipients will be among good company, with previous winners including Bob Cotton (former chief executive of the British Hospitality Association) and Tracey Rogers (managing director at Unilever Food Solutions). Tickets are priced at £185 each or £1,800 for a table of ten. Visit www.hospitalityaction.org.uk for more information about the charity.
