Hoshizaki director announces retirement

After 45 years in the industry, Hoshizaki UK and Ireland director, Steve Loughton, has today (13 June) announced his retirement.

Having worked at a number of industry companies including Garland, Welbilt and Jestic, Loughton was also once chairman of the Catering Equipment Supplier Association (CESA).

 

Hoshizaki director of sales Uwe Reimer commented: “We would like to thank Steve for his hard work over the last two years, in what has been an important transitional period for both the Hoshizaki and Gram brands, as well as Hoshizaki Europe as a whole. 

 

“We would like to wish Steve a very long and enjoyable retirement and all the best for the future.”

 

Loughton will officially retire on 1 October, when he will be succeeded by Simon Frost, Hoshizaki UK’s current director of sales and chain accounts and also former chair of CESA.

 

Reimer added: “We are delighted to have the perfect successor to Steve -already part of the existing Hoshizaki UK team.  

 

“I am confident that Simon will build on the foundations that Steve has already laid and would like to congratulate him on his appointment as director of UK & Ireland, Hoshizaki.”
