Horlicks launches campaign to support care homes

British brand Horlicks has launched their ‘Horlicks Cares’ campaign to give UK care staff access to a range of downloadable content including a recipe book, conversation cards and colouring activities.

The initiative has been developed to encourage staff and residents to ‘take a moment’ whether that is through singing, dancing or sharing stories. There is also a recipe book with breakfast, dinner and dessert options for residents to enjoy.

Karen Green, trade marketing manager at Aimia who supplies Horlicks to the foodservice sector, said: “At Horlicks, we want to show our appreciation and celebrate the continued efforts of the nation’s vital care workers.  

“We understand that there is so much more to their jobs than making tasty, nutritious meals that fit an abundance of dietary requirements. This is why we are dedicated to providing resources and tools to encourage residents and staff to look after their mental wellbeing and to ‘Take a Moment' for some quality time.

“It’s the simple things in life that can really make a difference and we hope our ‘Horlicks Cares’ will create enjoyable experiences for both residents and carers alike.”
