Run by existing directors, David Riley will manage the newly formed organisation in his continued position as managing director.
He said: “The joining of the two divisions will have a synergistic effect as we utilise the abilities of our team to maximum effect.
“We will be able to optimise our sales efforts, ensuring our customers obtain the most value from dealing with Hobart.”
Claiming the main focus of the merger is to “leverage new commercial opportunities and develop and strengthen relationships with external partners,” Hobart hopes it will also create a “larger and more effective” sales force. This, it said, will allow it to “increase, improve and strengthen” active sales contacts across the whole market.
Joining Riley on the management team are Iain Munro as business development director, and Tim Bender maintaining his role as sales director with the regional operations.
