Hobart grows into £1 billion global business
Abstract
German-based warewashing company Hobart has increased its domestic and export sales by up to 8.5% with worldwide sales reaching over £1 billion.

A significant part of the results were put down to new products unveiled in 2014 including Hobart’s new hood-type AMX and AUP warewashers

Hobart Warewash managing director, David Riley said: “With the UK playing such an integral part in the growth of Hobart globally, we’re extremely proud to share in the success of a thriving billion pound business.

“Our new hood type machines offer savings and in-built technologies that seriously raise the bar which has played its part in driving us forward.

“Such great news doesn’t mean we are going to rest on our laurels, however. A focus on innovation is what got us here in the first place and it’s innovation that will keep us at the cutting edge.”

The company’s German-based technology innovation centre is home to around 70 engineers and scientists.
