H+J hold cook-off to celebrate Prince Philip House refurbishment
Abstract
London catering company, H+J, celebrated the refurbishment of Prince Philip House, home to the Royal Academy of Engineering, by hosting a cook-off between three of its company chefs.

Rob Milligan beat fellow H+J chefs Gary McKechnie and Dave Massey in ‘Stove Wars’, where guests voted for their favourite dishes on social media.

Milligan said: “I’m absolutely ecstatic to have won this competition among my very talented colleagues who also cooked up some awe-inspiring food. It was a great way to celebrate the refurbishment of Prince Philip House and showcase the venue’s fabulous food.”

Guests were given tours to showcase the newly developed Taylor Centre Suite meeting rooms and modern kitchen.

Nathan Jones, co-founder and Director of Harbour and Jones, which owns H+J, said: “As we manage the complete catering, front of house and sales operation for Prince Philip House, we were delighted to support the showcase of its newly refurbished venue. As an iconic engineering establishment, Prince Philip House is the perfect venue that allows H+ J to create some innovative catering ideas and some inspiring dishes for both event attendees and members alike.”

Harbour and Jones provides contract catering to over 70 venues and businesses via its H+J and Fare brands and over 150 schools via Principles, the education caterer. H+J caters for London institutions including The Royal Society, British Bankers Association and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
