Data reveals that the UK’s best place to set up for a picnic is Seven Sisters in East Sussex, followed by Chatsworth House in the Peak District and Hampstead Heath in London.
Each spot was ranked based on the average maximum temperature across the summer months, views on TikTok for each location and the average monthly Google searches. Interest in picnics has increased as we head into summer with searches for ‘picnic areas near me’ up 150% and ‘picnic food ideas’ up by 90% between 30th May and 6th June 2023.
