Heathcotes Outside expands catering remit at Manchester International Festival

29th Jun 2011 - 00:00
Abstract
Heathcotes Outside, the specialist events division of The Lindley Group, is expanding its catering remit at this year's 18-day Manchester International Festival (MIF) which takes place between June 30 and July 17.
It is the second time that Heathcotes Outside has been appointed as the festival's catering partner. The caterer first became involved with the biennial event in 2009 when MIF selected Heathcotes Outside to provide the catering services at its pavilion and Festival Café. The Festival Café menu will include Goosnargh chicken sandwiches and Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire Cheese baguettes along with a range of sharing platters and a changing daily special. The events team has also been asked to cater for visitors dining at the Glass House – a new eaterie which is available for private and corporate hire at this year's event. All three dining and refreshment areas are incorporated in the Festival Square located directly in front of Manchester's Town Hall. Christine Cort, MIF associate director, said: "With Heathcotes Outside's heartland being in the north west and their expertise in providing freshly-prepared, bespoke quality catering on a large scale they were our first choice of catering partner for the Manchester International Festival, and they already have a proven track record." Adam Elliot, chief executive officer of the Lindley Group, added: "We're delighted that Heathcotes Outside has been invited to be the catering partner at the MIF again this year as it reinforces our commitment to expanding our business in the arts, culture and leisure sector."
