Healthy Eating Week 2016 to focus on changing behaviour
Abstract
The British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week will have a special focus on behaviour change techniques.

The week, which takes place from June 13-17th, aims to promote healthy eating and drinking in the workplace using techniques such as setting targets, getting support from buddies, making nudges to your environment and rewarding yourself for achievements.

Roy Ballam, education programme manager at the British Nutrition Foundation, said: “Promoting health in the workplace has many benefits for employers and employees alike, including increased productivity, reduced staff illness, and improved staff morale.

“This year we want to take our impact a stage further and have included the behaviour change techniques to help both adults and children make lasting changes in their behaviour that will impact their health into the future.”
