Aramark's win
Abstract
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has placed Aramark top for health and safety in its sector for the third year running.

The company has again won the hotel and catering industry sector category in RoSPA’s Occupational Health and Safety Awards.  The accolade, which recognises Aramark’s outstanding approach to preventing workplace accidents and ill health, places it ahead of all other catering companies or hotel businesses which entered.

RoSPA judges considered criteria including accident and ill health data, risk management, improvement in health and safety performance, and the promotion of health and safety among employees and contractors.

Fran Collison, Director – Safety at Aramark, said:  “RoSPA is arguably the country’s best known and well-regarded safety charity.  To win just one award of their awards would be fantastic news, so we’re over the moon that we’re RoSPA’s top performing organisation in our industry for three consecutive years.

“Our clients, customers and employees all benefit from our focus on this critical area and we certainly won’t be complacent as we look to build on our health and safety performance.”

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, added: “The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board. Organisations that gain recognition for their health and safety management systems, such as Aramark, contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.”
