HCA announces national finalists ahead of April awards
Abstract
The Hospital Caterers Association (HCA) has announced the national finalists for their awards taking place this April, at the forum.

The awards take place at the HCA national leadership and development forum 14th - 15th April in Liverpool.

The 6C’s award is new to the awards this year and is the fifth category for the HCA awards, all of which honour those who deserve special recognition for outstanding effort, either individually or as part of a team.

The three finalists for each category are as follows:

Caterer of the Year

Kay Lawton: Yorkshire branch, Leeds Teaching Hospitals

Liz Hawkshaw: Trent branch, Sheffield Teaching Hospital

Geoffrey Moyle: Northern branch, Freeman Hospital

Catering Service of the Year

Kelly Furniss: Yorkshire branch, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Pamela Mailler: West of Scotland branch, Golden Jubilee Foundation Hospital

Tony O’Hara: Northern Ireland branch, Belfast Health & Social Care

6C’s

Paul Coulsdon/Simon Clarke: London & South East, Serco/East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

Kelly Furniss: Yorkshire branch, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Lauren Bowen: London & South East branch, Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals/ ISS Facility Services
