Abstract
Harrison Catering Services has today said its delighted to have gained the prestigious BRIT School contract, following a competitive tender process.
The BRIT Performing Arts & Technology School is a City College for the Technology of the Arts – a state-funded school, independent of any Local Education Authority; it does not charge fees and places are highly sought after. The School is the only one of its kind in England dedicated to education and vocational training for the performing arts and the technology which makes performance possible. The contract supports over 900 pupils aged from 14-18 along with over 100 staff at their site in Croydon. Geoffrey Harrison, founder and MD of Harrison Catering, said: "We are delighted to have secured this contract which enables us to provide nutritious and appetising fresh food to this unique school. As principal sponsors of the English Schools Orchestra, we take a great interest in the development of performing arts for young people - and catering at The BRIT School is another opportunity for us to contribute to the wellbeing of this country's talented youth." Harrison Catering Services was founded by Geoffrey Harrison fifteen years ago and has a current turnover of just under £50 million.
