Harrison Catering cook wins School Link Dinner of Year title

Gahan received her award from Nora Sands, a dinner lady made famous by the Jamie Oliver series, Jamie's School Dinners, at a ceremony held at the school earlier this month. As well as winning the title, the school has won £2,000 worth of books from the award sponsors. Hannah Carlton-Robinson, who manages the contract for Harrison, commented on the award: "Ellen has adapted quickly to our new menus and produces a consistently high quality of food and service for the school. Ellen is a fantastic cook, and it's great that her hard work has been recognised in this way." The award comes just one year after Harrison took over the contract.
