Abstract
Hampshire County Council and their meals provider HC3S has been named this year's winners of the Healthy Schools' Caterers with California Raisins competition.
Arthur Cosgrove from HC3S and his team walked away with a total of £1,000 to buy kitchen equipment for the school.
The Council and meal provider's aim is to connect eating with a balanced diet and exercise to show how certain foods store energy and build up stamina. They also encourage parents and children to learn more about what they eat and how to keep fit and healthy.
Cosgrove commented: "What better way to improve health – feeding the body and fuelling the mind whilst using the most common and natural of ingredients – California Raisins."
