Contractor Crown Group brings together the skills of its operating divisions to support the day.
Clifford, who is chef patron at the two Michelin starred Midsummer House Restaurant in Cambridge and creative director of Kudos, part of Crown, will be cooking his ‘slow-poached chicken, sweetcorn egg, spinach with bacon and peas’ for more than 200 of the Crown Foundation’s partners and friends at the event.
Currently working at the Electrolux Cube in London, a pop up restaurant on top of the Royal Festival Hall, Clifford will be leading a brigade of chefs from Midsummer House together with top chefs from across the group.
The day company uses the day to raise awareness of its Crown Foundation amongst its partners, as well as celebrate the many successes of the last year. The event will also be attended by actor Robert Powell, who is a friend of the Foundation.
The foundation was created by the Crown Group to support a range of charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Variety Club of Great Britain, The Children’s Forces Trust and The Royal Marines Welfare Fund via fundraising and donations.
Food, furniture, staff and marquees will come from each of the Crown Group's companies, including Seasoned Events, the food and events experts; Piggotts, the marquee, flags, branding, and festive lighting suppliers; Kudos, the food and venue experts; Venue Reservations, the venue finding and events planning experts, and The Event Hire Company for furniture hire.
Russell Morgan, founder of the Crown Group, said: "The day celebrates some of the great work that our team does to help support our charitable partnerships over the course of the year.
"We are privileged to be able to call on Daniel to help add his unique and exceptional talent on what is a very important day for us.”
