The Good Eating Company opens Café GEC
Abstract
Workplace dining specialist, The Good Eating Company has opened a new restaurant (Café GEC) at the Northern & Shell building on Lower Thames Street, London.

The Good Eating Company was founded in 1999 and delivers ‘exceptional’ food service to over 10,000 people every day. In 2017 the Sodexo Group acquired The Good Eating Company.

Café GEC is open 8am until 10pm and offers a bistro-style menu. The menu will cover some of The Good Eating Company’s ‘popular’ dishes, including the GEC scotch egg and sausage roll, Mr C’s chilli paneer, lobster & cray fish mac ‘n’ cheese, grilled salmon with freekeh pilaf and pomegranate and Korean style barbeque pulled pork burrito.

Carlos Mistry, managing director at The Good Eating Company, said, “This is an exciting opening for us, it is fronted on the high street which means our customers are not only those working or visiting the Northern & Shell building but the general public too.

“We are looking forward to welcoming many new customers and building a successful partnership with building owners, Northern & Shell to ensure Café GEC becomes a dining destination of choice for everyone working or visiting the area.”
