Eat to the Beat, working on behalf of hosts The Royal British Legion, has been involved in the Festival of Remembrance since 2008, which includes a matinee and an evening performance attended by the Royal Family and political party leaders, and features military displays by current members of the armed forces, choral works, and prayers.
Global Infusion Group’s Operations Manager Katy Turner said: “It’s an absolute honour to be involved with these Royal British Legion events, particularly in the lead up to the two-minute silence at 11am on Armistice Day.
“The music performances and readings in Trafalgar Square are so moving. The events are wonderful and help everyone understand the importance of Remembrance so those sacrifices are never forgotten.”
GIG was originally launched in 1984 as Eat to the Beat – an artist, production and crew catering business specialising in backstage catering services for music, entertainment, film and TV industries.
