The Chesham based catering company took home the award for its work at last summer’s BBC Radio 2 Live from Hyde Park.
GIG created two dedicated dining areas in a ‘Summer Haven’ theme for artist catering and crew catering, serving up around 2,500 meals for the occasion.
GIG’s managing director Tony Laurenson, said: “Winning awards is really important both for our business but also to our entire team of creative chefs and back-of-house staff, who work so hard and diligently to ensure that every single event we are assigned to receives the very highest level of service with exceptional catering. It’s what GIG is renowned for and has underpinned our success for more than 30 years in this business.”
The award was collected on behalf of GIG by account managers Lauren Joyce and Kim Joyce.
The Festival Supplier Awards 2017 took place last week at a ceremony held at the Hurlingham Club in London.
