Abstract
In the first part of a series of panel discussions on London’s food industry, the ‘evolution’ of the capital’s street food trade will dominate discussion at Shoreditch’s Hoxton Hotel on 25 October.

The ‘Future of London Food’ series are being run by street food market operator, KERB, in the aim of exploring issues, opportunities and trends for the city’s food businesses.

KERB says its first session will question how street food established itself in the market and how it become a “legitimate and burgeoning competitor to the traditional restaurant.”

Panellists include Simon Mitchell from KERB, Zan Kaufmann, Bleecker Burger, Regan Koch, UCL and Tony Solomon, Anna Mae’s.

Founded by Petra Barran in 2012, KERB runs six food markets across London, in Camden Town, King’s Cross, London Bridge, West India Quay, The Gherkin, Paddington.
