Abstract
Hospitality Action (HA) is calling for all hospitality workers to put 'fun' into fundraising next month and become 'action heroes' for a week.
Participants are invited to wear pants over their trousers to raise money. Once people have registered, HA will send them action hero stickers for their pants. Then it's down to the individual to get going with colours, glitter, tinsel and pens to make the pants the talk of the town. People must send photos of themselves or their colleagues modelling their pants (over trousers, no flesh required!) to Helen Burgess, hburgess@hospitalityaction.org.uk, 62 Britton Street, London, EC4N 5UY) and see if they make it on to the online photo gallery. In addition to this, indus ry workers might choose to set up a charity football match, put their singing talents to the test with a karaoke evening, or run a hoolahoop contest. How to get involved: Visit www.hospitalityaction.org.uk and register your details for your fundraising pack. Nominate a Hospitality Action Hero 'champion' for your organisation - this person will be your organisation's main point of contact for Hospitality Action Week Have some fun with your colleagues and brainstorm ideas on how you want to raise money – get the whole team involved! 18-24 May – time to find out who gets their pants at Primark and who goes to Calvin Klein in a week of action hero-style madness! First Choice Coffee will donate 10p to Hospitality Action every time a photo is submitted. The winning photo will win four tickets to the Hospitality Sparkle Ball on the 14th October.
