The two-day event guarantees to engage, energise and entertain delegates, whilst sharing the latest innovations, ideas, guidelines and advice to boost their business’ catering provision.
Age UK chairman Diane Jeffrey will deliver the keynote address at the event, whilst other leading experts in the field of care, including David Sheard of Dementia Care Matters and Jilly Polson of Dementia Services Development Centre, will also deliver speeches.
Training modules will teach and challenge chefs with new approaches and perspectives for creating the right menu for service users in a care environment.
The training modules include: Keeping the classics contemporary and combining flavours; Simplicity is genius: less is more on the plate; and Experience the senses of ageing that will enable delegates to understand how the senses change with age. The modules are specifically created for the NACC and delivered by Westminster Kingsway College and the Catering Academy.
The CaterCare Expo, running alongside the forum, gives delegates the opportunity to link with more than 40 manufacturers and suppliers to explore, experience, sample and test the very latest food, drink, technology, equipment and services appropriate for care establishments.
