Abstract
The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) is hosting Frozen Food Week (5-11 September) to raise awareness about the 4.5 million tonnes of edible food that is thrown away every year.
The British Frozen Food Federation are asking companies to download the asset pack which includes all the Frozen Food Week logos and communication plan.
The Frozen Food Week is primarily a social media focused campaign and will feature a particular Frozen category on each day:
- Monday: No meat- encourages people to use plant-based substitutes
- Tuesday: Frozen veg
- Wednesday: Frozen fruit
- Thursday: Frozen savoury
- Friday: Frozen fish
- Saturday: Ice cream
- Sunday: The Frozen Community- share influencer accounts and websites for frozen food inspiration and ways to reduce food waste
