Abstract
Levy Restaurants, part of services provider Compass Group UK & Ireland, has announced that founder of the company, Eadie Levy, has died aged 92.

Her sons Larry and Mark Levy in 1978 pioneered the expansion of the company from a family Chicago Deli to a US-wide and ultimately international operator.

Her family recipes were used to create authentic, homemade food and deliver exceptional guest experiences that Levy Restaurants made its reputation on.

Levy Restaurants has become, through its contract gains, business success and awards, as one of the UK’s fastest growing and most innovative companies in the contract catering industry, with clients including Chelsea Football Club, O2 Arena and Jockey Club Racecourses.

A spokesman said Levy Restaurants expanded to the UK in 2004 and continued to provide innovative catering at stadiums and leisure venues across the country, whilst also ensuring that Eadie’s passion and love of food remained at the core of the company.
