Football League 2 outfit Bury FC sign ‘Pukka Pie’ deal

Football League 2 side Bury FC has signed a new deal with Pukka Pies making it the sole pie supplier to hungry fans at the club’s Gigg Lane ground.

Jonathan Parkinson, commercial manager at Bury said: “Matchday food is a vital part of our customer experience at Gigg Lane and we are very pleased to have partnered with Pukka Pies.

“Their reputation in football is second to none and we look forward to working together for a long time to come.”

Lindley Catering currently holds the contract to operate catering services at the Greater Manchester area club.

Pukka, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, have a strong presence in football across the UK serving pies at clubs in the Premier League, Football League and Conference Leagues.

Wayne Greensmith, Pukka marketing manager said: “We are delighted to be supplying Pukka Pies to Bury Football Club and their fans. We are very excited about adding Gigg Lane to our portfolio.”
