Abstract
Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) UK and Ireland has signed the Affiliation Agreement with FCSI EAME - Europe, Africa and the Middle East - which officially welcomed FCSI UK back into the region.

The FCSI UK and Ireland withdrew from FCSI UK on January 1st, 2016 and disbanded following a dispute with EAME regional operations.

Julian Edwards, chair of FCSI UK and Ireland, said: “I am delighted that we are now officially back in Europe! And I look forward to collaborating closely with my colleagues in all the local units, to share thoughts, ideas and above all friendship.”

The signing of the agreement took place at the three-day EAME conference, titled ‘Food and Hospitality in the Future’ in Vienna, held by Edwards and Martin Rahmann, immediate past president of FCSI EAME.

While the trade body officially rejoined EAME, FCSI UK and Ireland has been unofficially welcomed back into the EAME for almost nine months.

The FCSI is comprised of members offering independent catering and foodservice consultancy sets high standards for foodservice consultants.
