Abstract
A forum to discuss food security and the UK’s priorities post-Brexit will be held on 21 September, at London’s Caledonian Club.

The Westminster Food & Nutrition Forum will examine amongst other things, the impact of future trade policy on the UK’s food market, potential changes to agriculture funding and safeguarding food standards.

Those due to attend include Defra, FSA, HMRC, BEIS, CCC and the governments of Scotland and Wales.

The forum will discuss the future for agri-food policy, how to drive innovation, the impact of regulatory changes and how to support a vibrant agri-food sector.

Jayne Brookman, head of AgriFood at the Knowledge Transfer Network and Professor Charles Godfray, director of the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food, are two of the eight announced speakers.
