The FPA Awards are designed to celebrate the best manufacturers and distributors in the UK’s hospitality industry. The awards were announced by comedian Jo Caulfield and more than £5,000 was raised on the night for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Winners on the night included wholesaler, Brakes, who picked up the CSR Award for its Meals & More campaign, which ensures children do not go hungry in the holidays when there is a lack of structured help.
Meals & More project manager, Pem Hulusi, said: “We are delighted to receive this award as tackling child poverty is a huge challenge and it is important that we raise this important issue publicly. We thank the FPA for helping us to do that and to Northwood, who signed up to help earlier this year, for nominating Meals & More.”
