The awards, which will be held in Berlin in June, is seeking entries for the Best Innovation Award and Best Marketing Award, recognising companies who showcase best practice examples in advancing animal welfare.
Jemima Jewell, head of food business at Compassion, said: “There’s some hugely exciting work on farm animal welfare going on in both the foodservice and manufacturing sectors, and we’re looking forward to celebrating the cream of the crop.
“Finding innovative solutions to welfare challenges, and engaging customers on the issue of farm animal welfare, are both crucial in driving industry-wide change. These awards will recognise those who are leading the way.”
Entries must be submitted by March 31st via Compassion’s Food Business website.
Through the Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards, Compassion recognises market leading food companies for their current policies or commitments that result in positive impacts on farm animal welfare across their supply chains.
