The duo will present new research, undertaken by Bremner & Co, into food procurement and provision in early years settings in Yorkshire.
FixOurFood learnt first-hand from nursery managers, chefs, caterers, procurers, Government and local authorities on their lived experience of feeding 0-5 year-olds and what their thoughts were on how to change the system for the better.
A spokesperson for Fix Our Food said: “Evidence suggests that good nutrition in the early years plays a fundamental role in a child’s physical growth and development and is important to support social routines and the development of lifelong eating habits in food preferences.
“This webinar presents research findings about how procurement journeys differ between each setting, how settings feel about local and sustainable procurement, the challenges settings face in feeding under 5’s, experience of the voluntary guidance, and some of the challenges with nursery free school meals.”
