The ceremony seeks to recognise the 'hard work and efforts' of the Scottish food industry, with awards included for suppliers, servers and manufacturers.
Categories for the event, which this year will take place at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, includes best restaurant of the year, best wholesaler, best caterer and cookery school of the year.
Irfan Younis, chief executive officer of the event’s organiser, Creative Oceanic, said: “The tremendous amount of nominations received from the Scottish public is a testament to the hard work of all those working within the food sector.
“With fierce competition this year, we are looking forward to welcoming those who provide and supply us with gastronomic delights. Last year’s winners were great ambassadors and I am confident this year’s finalists and winners will follow in their footsteps. We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck.”
Over 50 national and regional awards will be handed out, with last year’s winners including Roots, Fruits & Flowers (outstanding retailer of the year) and Glasgow’s LA Catering (caterer of the year, South West).
