The initiative is starting with the hard-hit London hospitals trusts Imperial College NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Free & St Barts, but there are plans to expand and take it nationwide.
Initially the campaign has been delivering 5,600 hot meals a day to critical care staff at the five hospitals.
The campaign is supported by PR firm Talker Tailor and LEON itself has been providing 3,000 meals a day, but is aiming to ramp this up to 6,000 meals.
The food and services are being provided at cost and Vincent says during the crisis any profit made by LEON from its core operations will go towards FeedNHS.
Comedian Matt Lucas has re-recorded his popular Baked Potato song, which quickly went to number 5 in the charts and has been watched 3m times in Twitter. His efforts have already raised more than £840,000 for the campaign.
Other people and companies that have got involved include: Vincent’s wife and BBC presenter Katie Derham, Alastair Storey of BaxterStorey, Nigel Harris from Absolute Taste, Deliveroo, Brandon Stephens from Tortilla, Wasabi, Dishoom, Vita Mojo, Mustard Foods and Fresh Direct.
