Abstract
The Foodservice Equipment Association (formerly CESA) is encouraging people in the industry to walk up Kinder Scout in the Peak District to raise money for industry charity Hospitality Action.

Hospitality Action supports members of the hospitality industry who have fallen on hard times. The target for the walk is £700, which would buy basic clothing and waterproof shoes for seven people.

James Connolly of Celltherm Coldrooms and Nick Archer of Archer Catering Services will lead the team up Kinder Scout on 21 February 2020 at 9:30 am.

The last charity walk was a ‘great success’ and Keith Warren, chief executive of the FEA, said: "I am delighted with this initiative that is focussing on our industry's mental health and wellbeing.

“FEA will be actively encouraging our members to get involved. In fact I'll be popping along myself in February, having enjoyed last year’s walk - I’ll also bring supplies of chocolate!"

The walk is expected to take four to five hours and it will be about eight and a half miles.

There’s no mandatory fee and no commitment to raise funds, but the FEA is asking for donations via their fundraising page.

If you wish to join the group email james@celltherm.co.uk or nick@archercateringsystems.com for further information.
