FEA opens nominations for 2023 Industry Apprentice Award
Abstract
The Foodservice Equipment Association’s Industry Apprentice of the Year Award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate an apprentices 'exceptional contribution' to their workplace during the past 12-months.

Judges are looking for individuals who can showcase their applied commitment, contribution and resulting success in the workplace. The award highlights the important role that apprentices play in upholding standards, developing important skills and moving the industry forward.

The award sponsor, John Gilbert, has been a lifelong supporter of developing and encouraging the next generation of foodservice equipment professionals to thrive and develop within the industry.

The winner will enjoy a Trip to GulfHost in Dubai in November 2024, or NAFEM Show in February 2025, or another arrangement and a bursary to cover the cost of accommodation, travel and meals. The destination is dependent on the year in which your award is presented.

The Apprentice of the Year Award will be presented at the FEA Industry Conference Gala Dinner on November 16th at Chesford Grange, Kenilworth.

  • An introduction from FEA chair Paul Anderson
  • Strategic advisor and futurist Simon Stenning will present his invaluable foodservice and hospitality trends
  • Keynote speech from former Rugby Union referee Nigel Owens
