Last year HRC played host to over 30,000 visitors and 1,500 exhibitors. This year’s show will be celebrating how catering and food trends have changed since the first edition of the show in 1935.
John Cunningham, chief executive of FEA, will be involved in two of the show’s flagship events. On Monday 17th he will be discussing the history of the commercial catering equipment sector on the Vision stage and on Tuesday 18th he will be appearing on the TechX stage to take part in a panel called ‘Revolutionising the Kitchen: How Tech is Transforming Culinary Operations’.
New FEA chair Emma Brooks will be discussing the issues of Energy and Carbon Reduction in Foodservice on Wednesday 19th. The FEA will also be holding a drinks reception for its members during the third day HRC Show.
Delegates who have passed the FEA’s new Foodservice Carbon Professional (FCP) sustainability course will be awarded their certificates at the show. The FEA says this event is a great way to celebrate the achievements of the industry and highlights the importance of top quality training to the continued success of the industry.
Cunningham said: “The last five years have been an interesting time for the industry, but that hasn’t stopped innovation. We’re always thrilled to catch up with old friends, meet new friends and take stock of where the industry is and HRC is still one of the best places to do that. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand as we celebrate the show’s 90th birthday.”
