Abstract
Food and drink businesses are being asked by the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) to test how prepared their business is for a crisis ahead of the Crisis Management in the Food and Drink Industry event next month.

The London event will be held on February 26th and delegates will learn about risk assessment and what support is available to safeguard business during a crisis.

Barbara Gallani, director of regulatory, science and health division at FDF said: “Back by popular demand this essential crisis management session will equip industry professionals with the necessary skills to handle all different stages of a crisis. A food scare can seriously harm a business but a well-planned response can not only protect but actually enhance trust in your brand.”

Event speakers include; Stephen Humpreys, director of communications, Food Standards Agency; Richard Matthews, partner, Eversheds; David Gregory, risk management executive, Willis; Paul Dobson, central technical director, Premier Foods; and Andrew MacDougall, senior executive consultant, MSL.

The Food and Drink Federation is a representative of the food and drink manufacturing industry.
