Building on the success of its 2017 social calendar, which saw the society launch its ‘Education Day’ in June and also host a networking evening and stalls at The Big Hospitality and Commercial Kitchen shows, it plans on upping its presence at both Hotelympia in March and The Commercial Kitchen show in June.
As well as this, FCSI will hold its third Education Day in May and “is looking to build strong links with third parties including the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) and Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)” to accompany its newly launched LinkedIn company page.
Chair Julian Edwards said: “In 2017, we actively focussed on increasing the number of events at which the FCSI had a presence, and also the development and trial of new member event formats such as the Education Days.
“Our aim now is to further develop our programme of events, increase the amount of promotional activity we’re undertaking for the Society, and to forge stronger links with third party organisations for the benefit of our members.”
