The company will be offering the best local produce from Scotland’s larder in the visitor café and restaurant, as well as providing corporate and leisure event catering at the distillery.
The launch of Wilde Thyme at Glenturret has been led by the company’s chef patron Andrew Hamer who has worked closely with the team at The Famous Grouse Experience.
Hamer said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for the team at Wilde Thyme and we are very much looking forward to working with everyone at Glenturret Distillery, the home of The Famous Grouse Experience.
“Being from Comrie, the distillery is on our door-step so this new partnership is extra special being so close to the home of our business.”
Stuart Cassells, general manager at The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery, said: “Everyone here is thrilled to be welcoming Andrew and the team at Wilde Thyme to develop our food offering.
“To be working with innovators of this caliber is a real privilege. I can say from first-hand experience that their culinary creations and I can’t wait for distillery visitors and our regular local visitors to experience that.”
Established in 2003, Wilde Thyme has catered for an array of clients and events, including last year’s Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
Wild Thyme at Glenturret opens on Monday January 19th 2015.
