Stocks and sauces supplier Essential Cuisine celebrated National Curry Week (4-10 October) by unveiling nine recipes for chefs to try.
National Curry Week has three main objectives, firstly to honour the nation’s favourite cuisine, celebrate the Indian restaurant industry and to raise money for poverty focused charities.
According to research by Just Eat the most popular Indian dish ordered from their app is a korma. Essential Cuisine chefs celebrated the 23rd National Curry Week by finding their favourite selection of curries from their recipe bank.

- Sri Lankan curry with sticky rice
- Veggie balti
- Pork and Asian master stock curry
- Mauritian squid curry
- Turkey Persian style korma
Each of the nine recipes unveiled by Essential Cuisine contain an ingredients list, a method and a chefs tip to help people replicate the dish.
