The five-year contract will see ESS delivering catering services for officers and staff at the force’s headquarters in Welwyn Garden City. Flexibility and a commitment to promoting customer wellbeing were highlighted as important elements of the offer.
The restaurant serving breakfast and lunch will be complemented by a micro-market offering hot and cold grab and go food and refreshments 24/7. The company will also provide planned and emergency operational feeding across the county.
ESS’ commitment to promoting customer wellbeing was also key, encompassing balanced meal options, dishes signposted by its registered nutritionists and a variety of plant-forward options.
