Abstract
ESS Defence, part of Compass Group the world's leading catering and support services provider, has secured a £350 million contract with Babcock International Group at the Royal School of Military Engineering.
ESS will provide catering, retail, leisure and soft FM1 services to 1900 soldiers and their families on two sites2 at the School. In addition ESS will invest £2.1 million in the refurbishment of the clubs, dining facilities, shops, leisure outlets and bars on the sites. Ian El-Mokadem, Managing Director, Compass Group UK & Ireland said: "We're delighted to have won this contract with Babcock International at the Royal School of Military Engineering.
