To mark the ‘landmark’ milestone, the company is hosting a string of activities throughout the year, which will culminate with its combined 200th anniversary party and opening of its Falcon customer experience centre (located at its Stirling HQ).
As well as a demonstration kitchen showcasing the its latest technology, the new centre will feature a museum displaying archive products and designs.
Managing director Peter McAllister said: “200 years of British manufacturing excellence is something (Falcon is) immensely proud of. We are equally proud of our reputation with chefs, but we certainly aren’t resting on any laurels – we’ve got an R&D department that is leading the way in developing new ideas, and we have major new launches planned for 2019.”
“I think visitors will be truly fascinated by our heritage – our history reflects the history of foodservice equipment in the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.”
