Delphis Eco chief executive and founder Mark Jankovich said the initiative aligned with the company’s commitment to sustainability and reducing emissions in its customer offerings.
The trial, covering 75% of all Greater London postcodes, provides customers with the option for same-day delivery at £5.99 or next-day delivery at £3.99. Quiver, a 100% emissionless delivery service, utilizes human- or electricity-powered vehicles, including bicycles, e-bikes, e-cargo bikes, e-mopeds, e-cars, and e-vans.
Jankovich said: “Quiver is setting the standard for sustainable e-commerce delivery in London, offering not only speed but also trackability and editability while remaining emissionless. We're eager to gauge our customers' response to this cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.
“If the trial proves successful, we intend to incorporate this service into its ongoing delivery model.
“This is another way in which we are constantly interrogating our supply chain to find ways to reduce our impact on the environment, cut our own emissions, and improve the customer experience.”
Quiver's founder, Matthew Barrie, added: “We're excited to have Delphis Eco on board trialling our delivery service and for their customers to be able to enjoy the Quiver delivery experience as we continue to set the standard for e-commerce delivery.”
