Entry deadline approaching for Chefs at Play competition

Student, trainee and professional chefs aged 16-25 have just two weeks left to enter Chefs at Play, Coup de pates’ nationwide search for the freshest young talent.

The competition offers an all-expenses-paid trip to its exclusive Paris development kitchens and the chance to work with chef ambassador, James Tanner, to create a brand new product for the UK foodservice market.

With the November 23rd deadline fast approaching, the premium foodservice supplier is urging young chefs to go to www.chefsatplay.co.uk and submit a recipe for an innovative new sweet/savoury canape or reception product, created using one of eight Coup de pates frozen, semi-prepared products as a base.

Mariam French, head of marketing and product development for Coup de pates, said: “It doesn’t matter whether you’re a trainee, student or professional chef, we’re urging anyone keen to add their stamp to a brand new product and continue their kitchen education by learning from some of the best chefs around, to not miss out and enter Chefs at Play today.”
