Jones (left), who joined the company two years ago, will be responsible for ‘directing’ and ‘influencing’ the performance of in-venue sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
Jones was previously the sales and marketing manager at the RSA House, where Harbour & Jones runs the catering, front-of-house and venue sales and marketing under its sub-brand, H+J.
Before joining H+J, Jones was previously with Merlin Events as corporate sales and events manager at Coca Cola London Eye, the London Eye Barracuda and the Riverside Rooms.
Jones said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been promoted to head of venue and event sales at Harbour & Jones.
“I am looking forward to a new chapter in my career journey, helping to contribute to the company’s continuing success as London’s leading caterer.”
Earlier this year, Jones, who has also worked as business development manager at Ascot Racecourse, was voted 25th in Event Magazine’s Top 100 Club 2017.
Patrick Harbour, co-founder and director of Harbour & Jones, said: “Emma has a proven track record for driving success within the business while working at the RSA House. I know that in her new role, she will continue to offer significant contribution to the exciting plans we have here at Harbour & Jones for the coming months and years ahead.”
