Elliotts appoints Anthony Knight as new managing director
Abstract
Elliotts, a integrated marketing agency for the UK hospitality sector, has announced the appointment of Anthony Knight as its new managing director.

Knight, who will join in September, has experience in both marketing and communications, most recently as group sales and marketing director at Maxwell’s restaurant group, where he was responsible for leading the marketing and sales strategy for venues such as Café de Paris, Tropicana Beach Club and Maxwell’s Bar and Grill.

“Elliotts has a fantastic reputation for being creative, connected and results driven, combine this with ambitious growth plans and the opportunity to join them as managing director was irresistible," said Knight.  

“I am excited at the prospect of working with Ann and to be part of the talented team with high ambitions for the impact we can achieve with both existing and new clients.”

Knight will also be leading the digital and social teams at Elliotts as a result of his innovative approaches to customer engagement and experience, both in-venue and digitally. He generated global coverage for Maxwell’s response to the Pokémon Go phenomenon and the launch of Tropicana Beach Club, which won the group a ‘best use of social media’ award.
