Serving around 14,000 staff and guests a day, Elior’s dedicated Airbus team will operate 20 outlets across the company’s five sites: Broughton, Filton, Newport, Portsmouth, and Stevenage.
As well as introducing its own trademarked coffee shop brands, Elior has made ‘substantial’ investment to improve the ‘look and feel’ of outlets, including Airbus’ main restaurants.
It also plans to increase the number of meals served through a click-and-collect style system, and introducing loyalty cards for its new artisan coffee shops.
Debbie Clarke, Airbus UK contract dector for Elior, commented: “As well as Elior’s technological capability, our culture for customer service and strong Corporate Social Responsibility (CS) credentials – one of the key factors that led to Elior being awarded the contract - was our strong focus on fresh food.”
The contract caterer will also cater for VIP events and corporate hospitality at Airbus, as well as manage its Let’s Shop merchandising outlets.
