The Group Solidarity Fund will provide Elior colleagues with a £750 grant if they require additional help. The grants will be funded by Elior Group’s senior directors and executive committee who have volunteered to reduce their salaries by up to 25%.
Justin Johnston, human resources director for Elior UK, commented: “The current pandemic has brought financial challenges for people across the hospitality industry, including many of our colleagues here in the UK.
“Available to colleagues across Elior Group, we hope these grants will make a real difference in the lives of any of our people who have been facing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic.”
Elior UK are working with Hospitality Action to create this relief fund. Where applicants are approved the grants will be issued on a first come first served basis.
