Elior UK celebrates ‘outstanding’ employees at annual Awards for Excellence

Contract caterer Elior UK celebrated its “outstanding” employees last week during the 14th annual Elior Awards for Excellence (21 March).

Hosted by actor James Nesbitt, the ceremony took place at 8 Northumberland Avenue (Westminster) and saw 12 colleagues take home a winning trip to New York City, including this year’s brand new Sustainability Contribution award.


The You Made a Difference award, recognising an Elior colleague who has “gone above and beyond in the name of customer service,” was once again decided by a live-vote from the audience and went to Sue Eastick from Blackpool Sixth Form College.

  • Site Colleague of the Year - Lauren Bartlett, Vision Express
  • Manager of the Year - Gemma Allen, Stephenson Way Academy
  • Support Services Colleague of the Year - Ian Hughes
  • You Made a Difference - Sue Eastick, Blackpool 6th Form College
  • Apprentice of the Year - Joanna Wright, MHA Adlington
  • Sustainability Contribution - Lynda Walker, North-East Primaries

Chief executive Catherine Roe said: “Our people are the beating heart of what we do. Their hard work, skill, and passion for exceptional service are what make an Elior moment like no other.
