Abstract
Contract caterer, Elior UK, has reported that site sales have doubled at its staff restaurant since introducing the meal personalisation app, ‘Vita Mojo.’

Enabling staff to order tailor-made meals to suit their nutritional and dietary needs via the app, website, or in-restaurant iPads - from how much protein, carbohydrate or fat they’d like to how much of each ingredient they want and foods not to include – the service is also available in Vita Mojo’s three London-based restaurants in the City, St. Paul’s and Spitalfields.

Director of marketing and corporate communications at Elior UK, Carl Morris, said: “Elior firmly believes that every customer is unique. And catering for that individuality is a big part of providing exceptional customer experiences – whether customers are making that choice for the sake of their health and wellbeing, to support fitness goals, or because of personally-held beliefs.

“As well as personalisation, the use of technology to enhance customer experiences is high on our agenda, so we’re delighted the trial has been such a success.”

Keith McNeill, site general manager, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled. It’s made ordering easier, reduced queues, and given customers the power to order something that’s just for them. And the customer feedback has been incredible, too. My favourites so far include ‘super easy’, ‘absolutely delicious’, and ‘bloody groundbreaking’ – which is pretty good in my book!”
